Bandleader Kay Kyser was an American bandleader, actor, and radio and television personality of the 1930s and 1940s. He was known for his showmanship and popularizing a number of songs including 'Jingle Jangle Jingle' and 'Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition'. He was also known for his catchphrase 'Evening, folks!' and his signature song 'The Woody Woodpecker Song'. He was one of the most popular bandleaders of the swing era and was featured in several films.
