Bach Works is a term used to refer to the compositions of Johann Sebastian Bach, a German composer and musician of the Baroque period. Two of his most famous works are Cantatas and Chorales. Cantatas are vocal compositions with an instrumental accompaniment, usually written for a church service. Chorales are hymns or songs of praise, often sung by a choir. Both Cantatas and Chorales are considered to be some of Bach's most important works.
