Bacchus, the god of WINE and fertility in Greek mythology, was often attended by satyrs, maenads, and WINE. Satyrs were half-man, half-goat creatures who were known for their wild and drunken behavior. Satyrs were also known to be followers of Bacchus. Maenads were female followers of Bacchus, often depicted as frenzied and intoxicated women. WINE was an important part of Bacchus' worship, and it was believed that drinking it could bring one closer to the god.
