The UTO-Aztecan languages are a language family that is native to the southwestern United States and Mexico. It is one of the largest language families in North America, with over 30 languages spoken by more than 1 million people. The UTO-Aztecan languages are divided into two branches: Northern and Southern. The Northern branch includes languages such as Hopi, Comanche, and Shoshone, while the Southern branch includes languages such as Nahuatl, Pima, and Yaqui.
