The Austrian Alpine area known as Tyrol is a region located in the western part of Austria. It is bordered by Switzerland, Italy, and Germany and is home to some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in Europe. The region is known for its skiing, hiking, and other outdoor activities, as well as its traditional culture and cuisine. Tyrol is also home to many of Austria's highest peaks, including the Großglockner, the highest mountain in Austria.
