The term ASSTS is an acronym for Assistant Superintendents. Assistant Superintendents are responsible for providing administrative support to the Superintendent of a school district. They are in charge of overseeing the day-to-day operations of the district, such as budgeting, personnel management, and curriculum development. They also work closely with the Superintendent to ensure that the district's goals are met. Additionally, they may be responsible for managing the district's DEPS, or District Educational Programs and Services.
