Asia Minor Ancient Region is an area located in the westernmost part of Asia, which was home to many ancient civilizations. It is also known as Anatolia and is now part of modern-day Turkey. Three of the most prominent regions within this area are Aeolis, Aeolia, and Troad. Aeolis was a region located on the western coast of Asia Minor, which was home to the ancient Greek city of Troy. Aeolia was a region located in the north of Asia Minor, which was home to the ancient Greek city of Lesbos. Lastly, Troad was a region located in the northwest of Asia Minor, which was home to the ancient Greek city of Assos.
