The term ARP or Duchamp refers to two influential figures in the Dada art movement. The first is Jean ARP, a French-German artist who was a founding member of the Dada movement and is known for his abstract collages and sculptures. The second is Marcel Duchamp, a French artist who is considered one of the most important figures in 20th century art and is best known for his readymades and found objects. Both ARP and Duchamp are often referred to as Dadaists or Dada artists.
