Christopher WREN was an English architect, scientist, and mathematician who is best known for his work as the architect of St. Paul's Cathedral in London. He was born in 1632 and died in 1723. He is often referred to by his initials, 'C.W.', and is also known as Sir Christopher WREN. He is remembered for his contributions to the rebuilding of London after the Great Fire of 1666, and for his design of St. Paul's Cathedral, which is considered one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture.
