Koalas are arboreal marsupials native to Australia. They are known for their distinctive appearance, with a stout body, round ears, and a large, spoon-shaped nose. Koalas are herbivores, feeding mainly on eucalyptus leaves. They spend most of their time in the trees, sleeping during the day and foraging for food at night. They are also very social animals, living in groups of up to 20 individuals.
