The aptly named Olympics star is Usain BOLT, a Jamaican sprinter who is widely regarded as the fastest person ever timed. He is the first person to hold both the 100 metres and 200 metres world records since fully automatic time measurements became mandatory in 1977. BOLT is an eight-time Olympic gold medalist and holds the world record in the 100 metres, 200 metres and 4 × 100 metres relay. He is also the only sprinter to win Olympic 100 m and 200 m titles at three consecutive Olympics.
