Aptly named English novelist, ReadE, is the pseudonym of Thomas Edward Lawrence, a British archaeologist, military officer, diplomat, and writer. He is best known for his autobiographical account of his experiences in the Middle East during World War I, Seven Pillars of Wisdom, and for his role in the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Empire. He was also an accomplished poet, painter, and translator.
