The Apollo Module was a spacecraft used by the United States during the Apollo program in the late 1960s and early 1970s. It was composed of three parts: the Lunar Module (LM), the EAGLE, and the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM). The Lunar Module was the first spacecraft to land on the Moon and was used to transport two astronauts from the Command Module to the lunar surface. The EAGLE was the Command Module that orbited the Moon and served as the control center for the mission. The LEM was the ascent stage of the Lunar Module and was used to return the astronauts from the lunar surface back to the Command Module.
