Don Pardo was an American radio and television announcer best known for his work on the long-running sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. He began his career in radio in the 1940s and worked for NBC for over 70 years, announcing for shows such as The Price Is Right, Jeopardy!, and Wheel of Fortune. He was also the announcer for the first season of SNL in 1975 and continued to announce for the show until his death in 2014.
