Okapis are animals with striped legs, and they are the only living relative of the giraffe. They are native to the tropical rainforests of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Central Africa. Okapis have a reddish-brown coat with white horizontal stripes on their legs and a white muzzle. They have long necks and large ears, and their horns are used for defense. They are herbivores and feed mainly on leaves, buds, fruits, and grasses.
