Helga, a five-letter word, is the name of the subject of many of Wyeth's paintings. Helga was a woman from Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania who Wyeth met in the summer of 1939 and painted for the next 15 years. She was the muse for some of his most famous works, including Christina's World.
