Cheech and Chong are a comedy duo consisting of Richard 'CHEECH' Marin and Tommy Chong. They are best known for their stand-up routines and movies, which often feature drug use and other counterculture references. The two first met in Vancouver, Canada in the late 1960s and began performing together shortly thereafter. They released several albums and starred in several films, including Up in Smoke (1978), Nice Dreams (1981), and Still Smokin' (1983).
