Ancient Region of Asia Minor is an area that was inhabited by many different cultures and civilizations throughout history. It is composed of four regions: Ionia, Galatia, Caria, and Troas. Ionia was an ancient region located in the central part of the western coast of modern-day Turkey. It was known for its rich cultural heritage and was home to many influential Greek cities. Galatia was a region located in the north-central part of modern-day Turkey. It was inhabited by the Gauls, who were a Celtic people. Caria was an ancient region located in the southwestern part of modern-day Turkey. It was known for its strategic location and was home to many important cities. Troas was an ancient region located in the northwestern part of modern-day Turkey. It was known for its fertile land and was home to many important cities.
