Ancient monuments are structures that have been around for centuries, often built to commemorate a significant event or person. Two of the most famous ancient monuments are the stele and the PYRAMID. A stele is a tall, upright stone slab with an inscription or relief carving on it. The most famous example of a stele is the Rosetta Stone, which was used to decipher Egyptian hieroglyphs. Pyramids are large, triangular structures made of stone or brick, often found in Egypt. The Great PYRAMID of Giza is the oldest and largest of the Egyptian pyramids. Lastly, Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in Wiltshire, England. It consists of a ring of standing stones, each around 13 feet high, and is believed to have been constructed between 3000 and 2000 BC.
