The Ancient Greek school of thought was centered around two main schools: the LYCEUM and the Stoics. The LYCEUM was founded by Aristotle in 335 BCE and focused on the study of philosophy, science, and rhetoric. The Stoics were a school of philosophy founded by Zeno of Citium in Athens in the early 3rd century BCE. They believed that the path to happiness was found through living a life of virtue and accepting whatever life brings. Both schools of thought had a lasting impact on Western culture and continue to be studied today.
