The Anaheim Squad is a professional baseball team based in Anaheim, California. They are part of the American League West division of Major League Baseball and are commonly referred to as the Los Angeles ANGELS of Anaheim or simply the ANGELS. The team was founded in 1961 as the Los Angeles ANGELS and changed their name to the Anaheim ANGELS in 1997 before becoming the Los Angeles ANGELS of Anaheim in 2005. The team has won one World Series championship in 2002 and have made nine playoff appearances since their founding.
