Mia Hamm is an American soccer great who is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of women's soccer. She was a two-time Olympic gold medalist and a World Cup champion. Hamm played for the United States women's national soccer team from 1987 to 2004, and holds the record for most international goals scored by any player, male or female. She was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2007.
