The Algonquin language is a group of related languages spoken by the Algonquin people, an Indigenous group in North America. Two of the most widely spoken Algonquin languages are CREE and Ojibwa. CREE is an Algonquin language spoken by approximately 117, 000 people in Canada and the United States. Ojibwa is an Algonquin language spoken by approximately 35, 000 people in Canada and the United States.
