The Algonquian language family is a large group of languages spoken by many Native American tribes in the United States and Canada. The Shawnee, CREE, and Ojibwa are all Algonquian speakers. The Shawnee are a Native American people originally from the Ohio Valley region, while the CREE are a First Nations people from Canada and the northern United States. The Ojibwa are a First Nations people from the Great Lakes region. All three of these groups are Algonquian speakers, and their languages are still spoken today.
