Alaskan craft refers to the traditional boats and other items made by the indigenous people of Alaska. The term includes the Umiak, a large open boat made of driftwood and animal skins, the KAYAK, a small, light boat made of wood and animal skins, the ATTU, a type of canoe made of driftwood and seal skin, the NOME, a type of KAYAK made of driftwood and seal skin, and the ALEUT, a type of KAYAK made of driftwood and seal skin.
