Alaska's Seward Peninsula is a large peninsula located in the northwest corner of the U.S. state of Alaska. It is named after William H. Seward, who was Secretary of State under President Abraham Lincoln. The peninsula is bounded by the Chukchi Sea to the north, the Bering Sea to the south, and the Norton Sound to the east. The Kenai Peninsula is located to the east of the Seward Peninsula, and is separated from it by the Cook Inlet. The Kenai Peninsula is home to the cities of Homer, Seward, and Kenai.
