Alaska Natives are the indigenous people of Alaska, and include two distinct groups: Inuits and Aleuts. Inuits are an Arctic people who inhabit the northernmost parts of Alaska, Canada, and Greenland. Aleuts are a group of indigenous people of the Aleutian Islands and the western part of the Alaska Peninsula. Both groups have a long history of living in the region and have unique cultures and languages.
