The Alaska Highway is a highway that runs from Dawson Creek, British Columbia to Fairbanks, Alaska. It was constructed during World War II and is also known as the ALCAN Highway, an acronym for the 'Alaska-Canada Highway'. The ALEUT people are the indigenous people of the Aleutian Islands and the Alaska Peninsula in Alaska. They have lived in the region for thousands of years and continue to be a major part of the culture and history of Alaska.
