Alan Who Was Born Alphonso D'Abruzzo, commonly known as ALDA, was an American actor, director, and musician. He is best remembered for his role as Arnold on the television series Happy Days and his portrayal of the titular character in the 1976 film Taxi Driver. He was also a prolific director, having directed films such as Raging Bull, The King of Comedy, and Goodfellas. ALDA was born in New York City in 1936 and died in 2020.
