Karen Akers is an American singer and actress who has been performing for over four decades. She is best known for her Tony Award-nominated performance in the Broadway musical Nine, as well as her work in film and television. Akers has released several solo albums, including her debut album, Somewhere in the Night, which was released in 1985. She has also collaborated with other artists, such as jazz pianist and composer Dave Grusin, and has performed in numerous concerts and festivals around the world.
