EXAGGERATION is the act of making something appear larger than it actually is, while GAIN is the act of acquiring something. DEVELOPMENT is the process of improving something, and OVERSTATEMENT is an exaggerated statement. Finally, an ACCESSORY is something that adds to the overall effect. Together, these five elements can be used to create an aggrandisement.
