Agamemnon's son is Orestes, a character from Greek mythology. He was the son of Agamemnon, the leader of the Greek forces in the Trojan War, and Clytemnestra, the daughter of Tyndareus, the King of Sparta. Orestes is best known for his role in avenging the murder of his father by his mother and her lover, Aegisthus. He was aided in this task by his sister Electra and Pylades, a close friend.
