African Tongue is a term used to describe the many languages spoken in Africa. BANTU, SWAHILI, Tshi, and Sudanic are all examples of African tongues. BANTU is a language family spoken by over 200 million people in Central, East, and Southern Africa. SWAHILI is a BANTU language spoken by over 100 million people in East Africa. Tshi is a Kwa language spoken by over 8 million people in Ghana and Togo. Sudanic is a language family spoken by over 100 million people in West and Central Africa.
