African Ruminants are a group of mammals that are native to the continent of Africa. They include the OKAPI, which is a mammal that is related to the giraffe and has striped legs and a long neck; the GNU, which is an antelope-like mammal with curved horns; and the CAMEL, which is a large mammal with a hump on its back. All three of these animals are herbivores and have four-chambered stomachs that allow them to digest plant material.
