African Gullies, also known as WADIS, are dry riverbeds that are found in the African continent. They are formed when seasonal rains cause water to flow down a slope, eroding the land and creating a deep channel. These gullies can be hundreds of meters deep and can be used to irrigate crops or provide water for livestock. They are an important source of water in many parts of Africa and are often used to help prevent soil erosion.
