The African capital of RABAT is the capital city of Morocco, located on the Atlantic coast in the northwestern part of the country. It is the seventh largest city in the country and the largest city in the Maghreb region. RABAT has a population of over 1.2 million people and is the political and administrative center of Morocco. It is also home to many important historical sites, including the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower, and the Chellah necropolis.
