African Beasts is a term that encompasses a wide variety of animals native to the continent of Africa. Two examples of African Beasts are Gnus and Elands. Gnus, also known as wildebeests, are large antelopes with long horns and a shaggy mane. Elands are the largest antelopes in the world, with males weighing up to 2, 000 pounds. Both species are found in the savannas and grasslands of Africa.
