Africa Beast is a term used to describe the three most iconic animals of the African continent: the GNU, the LION, and the CROC. The GNU, also known as the wildebeest, is a large antelope-like mammal found in the savannas and woodlands of Africa. The LION is the second-largest living cat species and is the apex predator of the African savanna. The CROC is a large reptile found in freshwater habitats throughout Africa. All three of these animals are iconic symbols of the African continent and are often referred to collectively as the Africa Beast.
