Adventurous journeys can include a variety of activities, such as treks and safaris. Treks are long and often arduous journeys, usually on foot, through rough terrain or wilderness areas. Safaris are trips to observe and photograph wildlife in their natural habitats, often in Africa. Both treks and safaris involve a great deal of planning and preparation, and can be physically and mentally challenging.
