The Adriatic SEA is a body of water located between the Italian Peninsula and the Balkan Peninsula in southeastern Europe. It is connected to the Ionian SEA to the south and the Tyrrhenian SEA to the west. The Adriatic SEA is approximately 800 km long and covers an area of about 140, 000 square kilometers. It is the northernmost arm of the Mediterranean SEA and is bordered by Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, and Italy.
