Lola Falana is an American actress and singer who rose to fame in the 1960s and 1970s. She was known for her roles in films such as The Liberation of L.B. Jones and The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh, as well as her singing career which included hits such as 'Gonna Have a Good Time'. She was also a successful dancer, performing on television shows such as The Ed Sullivan Show and The Dean Martin Show. Falana was inducted into the Apollo Theater Hall of Fame in 2006.
