Della Reese was an American actress, singer, and ordained minister. She began her career as a gospel singer and later transitioned to jazz and pop music. She is best known for her role as Tess on the television series Touched by an Angel. Reese also had a successful singing career, with hits such as 'DON't You Know' and 'Not One Minute More'. She was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1959 for Best Rhythm & Blues Performance. Reese passed away in 2017 at the age of 86.
