Helen Mirren is an English actress who has been in the entertainment industry since the 1960s. She is best known for her roles in films such as The Queen, Gosford Park, and Calendar Girls. She has won numerous awards, including an Academy Award, four BAFTAs, three Golden Globes, four Emmy Awards, and two Cannes Film Festival Best Actress Awards. She was appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2003.
