Mitzi Gaynor is an American actress, singer, and dancer who is best known for her starring roles in the musical films of the 1950s and 1960s. She is also remembered for her performance of the song 'I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair' from the 1958 film South Pacific. Gaynor began her career as a chorus girl in the Broadway musicals of the 1940s before making her film debut in 1952. She has since appeared in numerous films, television shows, and stage productions.
