Zoe Caldwell is an Australian-born actress who has had a long and successful career in theater, film, and television. She won four Tony Awards for her performances in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Medea, Master Class, and The Last of the Red Hot Lovers. She also appeared in films such as Network and The Purple Rose of Cairo. Caldwell was made an Officer of the Order of Australia in 1989 for her services to the performing arts.
