Actor John Rhys-Davies is a Welsh actor, voice actor, and producer who has appeared in many films and television shows. He is best known for his roles as Gimli in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Sallah in the Indiana Jones films, and Professor Maximillian Arturo in Sliders. He has also had roles in films such as The Living Daylights, Victor/Victoria, and The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain. Rhys-Davies has also done extensive voice work, including voicing characters in video games such as Kingdom Hearts II and Final Fantasy XII.
