Actor Herbert Lom was a Czech-born British actor who had a long and successful career in film, television, and theater. He is best known for his role as Chief Inspector Charles Dreyfus in the Pink Panther films. His other notable roles include The Ladykillers, The Man Who Knew Too Much, and The Return of the Pink Panther. He was also a prolific stage actor, appearing in many productions in London's West End. His last role was in the 2012 film The Raven. Lom passed away in 2012 at the age of 95.
