Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is an American actor, producer, and environmental activist. He has been nominated for numerous awards, including three Academy Awards, and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his performance in The Revenant (2015). DiCaprio began his career by appearing in television commercials in the late 1980s. He rose to prominence with his role in the film adaptation of the novel What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He achieved international fame with his role as Jack Dawson in the 1997 blockbuster Titanic. Since then, DiCaprio has starred in a variety of films, including Catch Me If You Can (2002), The Aviator (2004), Blood Diamond (2006), Inception (2010), The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019).
