Actor Carney was an American actor, comedian, singer, and writer. He is best known for his role as Ed Norton in the 1950s television series The Honeymooners. He also had a successful career in film, appearing in such films as It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World and The Late Show. He was also an accomplished artist, having studied at the ART Students League of New York and having exhibited his work in galleries. He was also a talented musician, playing the saxophone and clarinet.
