Actor ALAN Arkin is an American actor, director, and screenwriter. He is best known for his roles in films such as The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming (1966), The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter (1968), Catch-22 (1970), and Little Miss Sunshine (2006). He has also appeared in television series such as The Twilight Zone (1959–1964) and Get Smart (1965–1970). He won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Little Miss Sunshine. His son, ADAM Arkin, is also an actor, director, and producer. His other son, Alans Arkin, is a musician and composer.
